ABOUT ME

MIRIAM GARCÍA is an art director, filmmaker, and graphic designer and the founder of Waico Studio. From an early age, she has been deeply drawn to the world of visual arts, a passion that has led her to explore and specialize in video, photography, graphic design and 3D, illustration, and animation.

Working from a multidisciplinary perspective gives her a distinctive edge in today’s market, allowing her to develop and lead projects from art direction to final execution.

She is an ALL-TERRAIN CAMERAWOMAN specialized in covering both land and water sports. She has worked on fashion campaigns, advertising spots, events, festivals, as well as lifestyle and travel projects. She moves fluidly between the adrenaline of action and the visual sensitivity that turns each image into an experience.

From a design perspective, she develops projects in branding, illustration, logo design, scenography, 3D pieces, and promotional products.

Her multidisciplinary approach allows her to address each project in a holistic way, combining technique, concept, and emotion to create images with a strong identity—images designed to linger in memory and connect with those who experience them.
